Anne Hathaway on Angelina Jolie about Movie Kissing

Anne Hathaway admits that it’s “fun” locking lips with her hunky co-stars but she fears she hasn’t mastered the sexy scenes as well as some of her peers. That’s because the Alice in Wonderland actress finds it hard to “get into” on-camera smooches.

While she is one of the world’s highest-grossing actresses, Anne doesn’t have much confidence when it comes to “full-on movie kissing,” which she thinks is best reserved for Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie.

“You have to understand. There’s a technique for pretty movie kissing,” she said. “There’s also full-on movie kissing — a totally different experience. But really, you have to be like Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.”

Angelina Jolie as Kay Scarpetta?

Angelina Jolie will star as Kay Scarpetta, in a film — or films — based on the character created by Patricia Cornwell. Late last year, Cornwell told L.A. Times Dark Passages columnist Sarah Weinman that Cornwell viewed “Scarpetta,” the 16th novel in her series, as something of a reset button, returning the focus to the characters and their interactions with each other.

But there is also plenty of forensic science — Scarpetta is a medical examiner — which made the series’ 1990 debut, “Postmortem,” stand apart.

Variety reports that with all those books as a resource, “a franchise is hoped for,” but, their report adds:

this film won’t be tied to a specific Cornwell mystery title. Much the way that Jason Bourne morphed into an action hero in plots not rigidly locked into the Robert Ludlum book series, the opera-loving coroner Scarpetta will be the lead in a suspense thriller in the vein of “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Seven.”

With all this attention, it’s hard to believe that Kay Scarpetta almost never came to life at all. “Postmortem” was published by Scribner, “with a modest first printing and advance (6,000 copies and $6,000, respectively),” Weinman writes, “that came just when Cornwell was about to give up on writing fiction.”

Angelina Jolie Could Be Stepping Closer to ‘Sin City 2′

While she has mentioned her doubt on nailing a role in “Sin City 2″ earlier, Angelina Jolie is reported to be one step closer to join the cast ensemble of the “Sin City” sequel. Moviehole reported a rather high-profile producer friend has claimed that the “Wanted (2008)” star is in “serious talks” to star in the movie.

The 33-year-old actress has long been linked to the sequel project which is said to be the adaptation of “A Dame to Kill For”. If she is indeed tapped as one of the cast members, Jolie is likely to take on the role of Ava Lord, the former flame of Dwight McCarthy and will star opposite Clive Owen since he is “loosely attached” to reprise his role as McCarthy.

In mid-2008, the Christine Collins of “Changeling” has confessed to MTV that she still hasn’t made any decision on the Ava role. “I don’t know,” the star of “Beowulf” stated at the time. “I found the first ‘Sin City’ impressive, but I don’t know what they’re going to do with the next one to make [it] as original as the first one. I’d be curious. I think he’s a genius.”

In another “Sin City 2″ news, The Weinstein Company (TWC) have come up with a response to the rumor of them losing rights to the project. “TWC’s rights to produce sequels to Sin City remain intact as they always have been,” the studio’s attorney Bert Fields issued this statement. “Any suggestion to the contrary is complete hogwash.”

Jolie Hopes to ‘Fade Away’ from Movies

With six children at home, Angelina Jolie says her days as an actress are numbered.

“I don’t plan to keep acting very long,” she tells the BBC. “I’m ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day.”

Jolie, 33, currently starring in The Changeling, says she plans to “work for a few months” in February, then take a year off.

“I won’t work again probably for another year,” she says. “So maybe it’ll be once a year, then maybe it’ll be once every three years.”

She adds: “I have a lot of children. I have a big responsibility to make sure that they’re growing right and that they have got us there for them.”

Of course, to help make ends meet, there’s also another wage earner in the household: Her partner Brad Pitt, 44.

“I’m not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity and be a successful actress forever,” she tells the BBC. “It’s great, but everything comes in seasons. I hopefully I won’t be needing to do that later in my life.”

Jolie : New Movie Pushed Me to Get Pregnant

If it weren’t for her new movie, Changeling, Angelina Jolie says she may not have had twins Knox and Viv. She recently told The Los Angeles Times the film’s themes of motherhood pushed her get pregnant.

“I got pregnant right in the middle of it and I think partially because of it,” she said, smiling. “I was so emotional about children that I think something in me kicked into gear.”

In the Clint Eastwood drama, Jolie plays the mother of a kidnapped son – her latest mom-centric film.

“I don’t think it’s a choice of mine as much as it is something women deal with when we get older,” she said. “A woman in her 30s is more likely to have roles that in some way relate to family.”

Being the mother of six life can be challenging – even with the help of beau Brad Pitt.

“I woke up at 3 in the morning with four kids with jet lag and two babies,” the U.N. goodwill ambassador said as she reflected on one recent day. “I put myself together for a few hours and go out. And then I go home. This is my job.”

Still, she said she shows no signs of slowing down – or settling in Hollywood.

“I don’t dislike it here,” the Oscar-winner said. “I just really do love to travel. I love other cultures. And I love raising my kids in the world. I’m so fortunate that I get to do that. Added the actress, “The center of my life is my kids.”
