Angelina Jolie : “I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky”

Angelina Jolie told Bob Simon on CBS’ on ’60 Minutes’ that she feel very ”lucky” to have not died young .

“I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.

“People can imagine I did the most dangerous and the worst. For many reasons, I shouldn’t be here. You just think [about] those times when you came too close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken, too far.”

“I’m still a bad girl. I still have that side of me.it’s just in its place now.it belongs to Brad. Or our adventures.”

Reportedly Variety :

Eric Roth is in early discussions to reteam with producer Scott Rudin on Sony Pictures’ “Cleopatra,” which has Angelina Jolie attached to star as the Egyptian queen.

David Fincher is circling the pic, which Brian Helgeland initially adapted from Stacy Schiff’s bestselling book “Cleopatra: A Life.” There is no deal in place yet for Roth, and while Sony wouldn’t confirm his involvement, sources close to the project confirm he has been approached and will likely begin writing in the coming weeks or months.

Film will tell Cleopatra’s story from a woman’s perspective, depicting her as a master strategist in politics and war.
