Angelina Jolie is in talks to play a role that she’s undoubtedly qualified for — a witch!
Hot on the heels of the massive box office success of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, movie bosses are keen to turn The Wizard of Oz into a live action movie.
And sources say Jolie is being lined up to play The Wicked Witch Of The West.
“Angelina as The Wicked Witch would be perfect casting,” an Academy Award winning casting director told the PopEater website.
“She is not only the biggest movie star in the world, but Angie is also a brilliant actress who isn’t afraid to play someone evil.”
Reports at the weekend claimed Jolie — who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt — is fighting a “mystery illness”.
“I think there’s something wrong with her,” said one insider. “She gets tired easily and emotionally is usually up and down.
“I hope and pray she gets the proper help she desperately needs.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s tomboy daughter Shiloh wants a soldier-themed party for her fourth birthday, according to US reports.
The little girl will celebrate her fourth birthday on May 27 – and her famous parents are already planning a party for her.
A pal said to In Touch: ‘Maddox had a soldier-themed party when he turned four, so Shiloh wants the same.
‘She wants boys’ toys, since she’s such a little tomboy.
‘Brad also bought Shiloh a Jeep that is safe for kids, and he’s thinking of getting her a toy ATV that she can drive around the property.’
The little girl will reportedly be getting new boots, as well as some toy guns and a new bed in the style of a spaceship for her big day.
