Angelina Jolie make Birthday Cake for Maddox

According People.com Angelina Jolie found time to whip up a sweet treat for son Maddox’s birthday in August.

The 43 years old TV chef Sandra Lee of “Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee” revealed :

“I was really surprised when her friend let me know she made my No Bake birthday cake, She’s a Semi-Homemade mommy just like the rest of us!” She also adding about the cake “a beautiful display that anyone can do in five minutes”

She’s a very busy, overextended mother, I’m very proud not just that she made my cake but that someone of her stature isn’t delegating these [tasks], like her children’s birthday, to other people. I’m glad she loves the show and that the kids apparently also watch it too.

Angelina Jolie to star in ‘Gucci’ drama

‘Titanic’ star Leonardo Di Caprio is being approached to play ex-husband to Jolie‘s onscreen avatar in the movie, reported Variety magazine.

Should the deal go through, the 34-year-old actress is expected to play Patrizia Reggiano, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci who was sentenced to 29 years in jail for plotting Maurizio’s murder.

The film, named ‘Gucci’ and to be directed by Ridley Scott, will center on Gucci and the turnaround he brought to the Gucci empire before he was murdered in front of his Milan apartment in 1995.

Fox 2000, producers of the film, is looking forward to hire a scribe to rewrite the script in hopes that it will recapture the glamorous days of the Gucci family dynasty in the 1970s and ’80s. Filming of the movie is slated to start next year.

Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck to Direct Angelina Jolie in “The Tourist”

While it was rumored last week, IGN has now confirmed that Angelina Jolie will be replacing Charlize Theron and Variety now says that Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck is tipped to direct Spyglass thriller “The Tourist” which is set to start production in February 2010.

“The Tourist” will be the first movie for von Donnersmarck since the German director’s 2006 breakout The Lives of Others, which won the Academy Award for foreign-language film.

A remake of 2005 French thriller “Anthony Zimmer”, the story follows an American tourist (Sam Worthington) finds his life in danger when a female Interpol agent (Angelina Jolie) uses him as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair.

Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2) wrote the screenplay.

Angelina visit SOS Children Jordan Picture during Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt invited to make a special visit to the SOS Children’s Village in Amman, Jordan. since October 1, 2009

Angelina is already visited the village in 2003. but it a first visit for Brad Pitt.

SOS Children established an emergency relief programme in Ruwayshid in western Jordan providing food, medicine and temporary accommodation for refugees from the war in neighbouring Iraq

Angelina Jolie said “The SOS model of providing care for children without parental care is one of the best, as they are still in a family setting within their own country. We hope more people learn about their programmes and give them support”.
